Review before infrastructure changes

We identify the applications and shared data the server supports, who uses them and how much downtime is acceptable. The review covers capacity, permissions, existing backups and dependencies on other devices or suppliers.

Maintenance planning and post-change checks

Updates and migrations need a maintenance window and a rollback approach if something fails. After an agreed change, we check data access and key functions. Licences, application vendor support, replacement hardware and major migrations are specified separately.
